SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

It's hard to see all there is to do in just one trip

Hip and historic, our boutique hotel in Frederick is in walking distance of award-winning restaurants, cool art galleries and cultural happenings, and craft beers loved by locals. No wonder the National Trust of Historic Preservation recognized the city of Frederick as one of "America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations."

French Quarter tours are quick crash courses that take the form of everything from polite, informative walking tours to pub crawls, paddle wheeler sojourns, horse-drawn carriage rides and bizarre nocturnal romps in search of ghosts and vampires.
Garden District
Garden District
Enjoy a walk through New Orleans’ elegant Garden District, once part of the plantation owned by Bienville, the founder of New Orleans. Visit the “American” section of town that was built to rival the architectural splendor of the Creoles’ French Quarter. This historic district is known for its marvelous examples of Greek Revival and Italianate architecture. The homes of former Kings and Queens of Mardi Gras are located here, as well as the home of the premier family of football - the Mannings - where Archie lives and Peyton and Eli grew up. You'll also see the former residence of celebrated author Anne Rice, as well as the house where Jefferson Davis died in 1889; and Toby’s Corner, the oldest house in the area (built in 1838).
St. Louis Cathedral
St. Louis Cathedral
The St. Louis Cathedral is one of New Orleans' most notable landmarks. Few cities in the world are so identified by a building as is New Orleans. The city is instantly recognized by our cathedral and its position overlooking Jackson Square. This venerable building, its triple steeples towering above its historic neighbors, the Cabildo and the Presbytere - looks down benignly on the green of the Square and General Andrew Jackson on his bronze horse and on the block-long Pontalba Buildings with their lacy ironwork galleries. Truly, this is the heart of old New Orleans.
