Wedding Ceremony and Reception

  • Ceremony

Congratulations to Malaika and David Ludman on their marriage at Degas House! The ceremony was held in the Degas House courtyard and the reception took place both in the courtyard and inside the home. This couple was very creative in the décor they provided for their event. Upon entering, guests were treated to a picture display hung from the side porch. The couple made their own tablecloths out of brightly colored fabric and carried that theme through the chair setup with brightly colored strips of cloth tied to the chairs. The second-line exit by the bride and groom included umbrellas trimmed in the same colors. In lieu of a wedding cake were various desserts. Bags of caramel corn were given out as favors. At the end of the evening, the bride and groom exited under a canopy of sparklers.
