Field Trips at Degas House
Educational Field Trips are offered to school groups at Degas House. Students will experience and learn the personal side of the great French Impressionist Master, Edgar Degas. In the unique setting of Edgar Degas’ New Orleans home and private studio, students will learn about the life and work of the artist through discovery-oriented activities and cross-curricular connections with history, science, art and music.
Once your field trip is booked, Pre-visit Activities will be sent along with bus parking and drop-off information
• Field trips are offered with specific age-appropriate activities
• Preferred tour times are 10:30 am and 1:30 pm
• Optional breakfast buffet at 9 am can be added
• One Free chaperone for every 10 students
