Josephine Room

Reserve Compare

Josephine was Estelle’s daughter and Degas’ niece. A copy of her portrait at age 10, painting by Degas, "Le pédicure", hangs in this room along with her photo and documents of her life.

The mood of the Josephine Room is both playful and soothing, with an antique rocking horse and a four-poster queen-sized bed among cherry wood furnishings. The private bathroom features a classic Victorian claw-foot tub with shower. An adjoining door between the Josephine and Estelle rooms allows conversion to a spacious two-bedroom suite for families or larger groups.
