William Bell Corporate Rental
William Bell, Mathilde’s husband, was a Confederate spy and on the board of the fairgrounds race course (which opened during Degas’ stay). The fairgrounds are now home to the Jazz & Heritage Festival.
This is a full corporate rental and one of our most spacious suites. It has separate rooms and can accommodate up to four people with a king size bed and a four-post full size bed. This room also features charming furnishings, large closets, jacuzzi tub, kitchen and a private balcony overlooking our courtyard and the city. Generally used for 30 day period by visiting art history scholars and interns. Available by special request. Please call. 30 day rentals from $1800-$2500. Some rates negotiable.
